Message of Hope Via the Lens of Persian Culture, His Experiences & Observations
Kam Shadan, an active member of the Rotary Club of San Rafael since 2006, has a business background pertaining to being a "forensic expert in program/project and construction management standards of care, and has over 40 years of experience overseeing major infrastructure, transportation and real estate development projects nationwide and before becoming a United States citizen in 1982", a lot occurred prior that.
"Kam was born in Tehran in a secular family, and his father's line of work in Iran was running his own engineering consulting company."
Kam wanted to follow in his footsteps, had even attended UC Berkeley in 1972, worked for General Electric's Nuclear Engineering Division, as he was studying for his Masters Degree, but then the Islamic Revolution happened in 1979 and changed everything in Iran, along with his dreams of going back halted with it.
Currently he "has found himself trying to make sense and reconcile the actions of the government in the country he was born in with the actions of the country he has adopted."
And "after the recent elevation of hostilities in the Persian Gulf, he decided to share his message of hope through the lens of Persian culture, his experiences, and observations."
